El Cine es un Puente en el Oceano is a project developed by the Concorto Association and Marcelo Carrara, president of the Association “New Generations – Earth” located in Mar de Plata, Argentina. The project is supported by the Pontenure Municipality and by the Regional Committee of the Emilia-Romagna Citizens abroad.
Marcelo Carrara will be our most welcome guest and he will tell us about Argentina and the strong bounds which link Italy and the Italian communities settled in this beautiful country across the ocean. On the same occasion, Tomás Sheridan will show the result of the workshop realized in Mar de Plata on June 2017.
The short film produced in Mar de Plata explores in three chapters some of the elements that link the Italian and Argentinian culture: the tango, the gastronomic culture and a more intimate topic, the story of two women united by a great love.
