This year’s edition is dedicated to Fabio Iacobucci, the author of Concorto KIDS’s logo.
Every year Concorto Kids has a particular theme: in 2022, the theme was Reading, in 2023, Visual Arts, in 2024, Environment and sustainability, in 2025, Earth’s music. Concorto Kids 2026 – Water’s Memory is dedicated to WATER, an essential element of life, a precious resource and a universal symbol that finds its way through nature, history, myths, art and film narratives.
This theme is explored from a variety of points of view:
- Water as a common good: sustainability, resource conservation, climate change;
- Water as origin: ancient seas, biodiversity, origin of life;
- Water as a landscape: rivers, lakes, seas and regions to explore and protect;
- Water as imagery: stories, sounds, music, cinema, and animation;
- Water as a sensory experience: listening, movement, sound, manual skills.
Kids are encouraged to develop environmental awareness, sense of responsibility and curiosity about the natural world through hands-on activities and group screening. These experiences are consistent with the goals of the 2030 Agenda and the principles of sustainability education.
On top of that, this year’s Concorto Kids becomes a contest as well. The award for the best short film will be assigned by our young cinephiles and is sponsored by Fonte Plose.
