This year, Concorto Kids is back for three days!
#Concorto2024 will devote three days to children offering activities like shows and much more! This year the subject is ENVIRONMENT and SUSTAINABILITY, and we will be waiting for you! The experience will include workshops, shows, snack breaks, and an afternoon event for educators, teachers and parents to delve into the role of food in the upbringing process.
Suitable for children aged 3 to 12, but if you get curious… come and have a look anyway! ENTRANCE IS FREE, but you need to make a reservation here.
We’ll be waiting for you on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of August in “Galleria d’Arte Moderna Ricci Oddi”, Piacenza.

READING CORNER: Throughout the duration of Concorto Kids, Daniela Rossetti will be present with the Reading Corner, where girls and boys can discover illustrated books inspired by themes of the environment and sustainability.

Tuesday, 20th August 2024
4:30 PM – “THE SIXTH SENSE: WONDER – IL SESTO SENSO: LA MERAVIGLIA” [workshop for children aged 3 to 7]
We will look for “nature alphabets” in the garden of the art gallery, in order to rediscover the sense of wonder through an experience in an urban micro-landscape.
At the same time:
4:30 PM – “THE CITY OF IDEAS – CITTÀ DELLE IDEE” [workshop for children aged 8 to 12]. A workshop of shared imagination and design thinking to find ideas in order to make Piacenza greener and more environmentally sustainable.
5:30-6:00 PM – snack break offered by Fonte Plose and Eataly Piacenza!
6:00-7:00 PM – short films about environment and sustainability.
Wednesday, 21st August, 2024
4:30 PM – “ECO-HACKING: TRANSFORM YOUR CITY – RIVOLUZIONA LA TUA CITTÀ” [workshop for children aged 3 to 12]
Practical workshop to make little handmade articles with recyclables and seed bombs to “eco-hack” the city. In collaboration with Città del Sole | Piacenza.
5:30-6:00 PM – snack break offered by Fonte Plose and Eataly Piacenza!
6:00-7:00 PM – short films about environment and sustainability.
Thursday, 22nd August, 2024
4:30 PM – for educators, teachers and parents | “Uovo Sapiens: il cibo è maestro”
Food as multidisciplinary educational material, with Federica Buglioni, author of books on food and nature.
At the same time:
4:30 PM – “PLANT PATTERNS – STAMPE DIGITALI” [workshop for children aged 3 to 12] Taking inspiration from Bruno Munari’s book “Rose nell’insalata”, we will use vegetables to make small pieces of art, cutting and decorating them with painting and colours.
5:30-6:00 PM – snack break offered by Fonte Plose and Eataly Piacenza!
6:00-7:00 PM – we will watch the best international short-films for children together!
