The Official Jury 2026 of the 25th edition of Concorto Film Festival. The jury will assign the Golden Donkey to the best short film and the Silver Donkey – Special Jury Award 

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and sound engineer, Karim Qqru has been the drummer of Zen Circus for 23 years, recording 13 albums and performing over 1500 concerts with the band. He has collaborated with artists such as Nada, Brian Ritchie, Dick Parry, Eugene Chadbourne, Kim Deal and Jerry Harrison. He leads the solo projects La Notte dei lunghi coltelli and Dirt Tapes Ambient Files, and creates live soundtracks for silent films. He is currently touring with Zen Circus and other musicians for the live scoring of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis.

Born in 1986 in Landstuhl, Germany, Caterina Erica Shanta is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Pordenone, Italy. She holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from IUAV University of Venice. Her practice explores the relationship between images, memory and documentary languages through archives, archival footage and found materials. Her works have been presented at institutions and festivals including GAMeC, MUFOCO, Careof, Artists’ Film International 2024, Gherdëina Biennale, Oberhausen Film Festival and Lo Schermo dell’Arte.

Samir Karahoda holds a degree and an MFA in Photography from Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul. He works as a photographer, cinematographer and tutor, and has curated the short film program of DokuFest in Prizren, Kosovo, for nearly two decades. He founded SK Pictures, an independent production company. His directorial debut In Between (Në mes) premiered at the Berlinale in 2019. Displaced (2021) and On the Way (2024) premiered in Cannes Official Competition; Displaced received awards at TIFF and Sundance and was nominated for the European Film Awards.
