The Official Jury of Concorto Film Festival 2025. The jury will assign the Golden Donkey to the best short film and the Silver Donkey – Special Jury Award 

Juliette Canon has been in charge of the short film department at La Semaine de la Critique of the Cannes Film Festival since 2022, where she also coordinates the Next Step program, supporting short filmmakers as they develop their first feature films. She began her career in programming at Ciné Lumière in London and at the Premiers Plans Festival in France. From 2014 to 2016, she was part of the programming office at the Locarno Festival, and from 2016 to 2018, she worked as the Program Coordinator for the Italian Film Festival in Lisbon. She has also collaborated with various international festivals such as Doclisboa, FIDADOC and Visions du Réel.

Hu Wei, a filmmaker and visual artist born in Beijing, lives and works between Beijing and Paris. He graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and Le Fresnoy. Since 2016, he has been a professor at Beijing Normal University and became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His award-winning films have been featured at festivals like Cannes, Venice, AFI, and Sundance and exhibited in venues such as the Palais de Tokyo and the Centre Pompidou.

Alissa Jung began directing short films, documentaries, and youth theatre in her mid-20s. After taking time to complete her medical degree and work as a paediatrician, she returned to the film industry in 2020, earning a degree in screenwriting  in Germany. In 2022 and 2023, she directed the short films The Wall Must Fall and Farah, the latter of which won the 2024 Goldener Spatz Award, awarded by the Festival des deutschen Films für Kinder. Paternal Leave, her feature film directorial debut, premiered 2025 at the Berlinale and won several prizes.
