Asino d’Oro (Golden Donkey, first prize)
Fille de l’Eau
Dir. Sandra Desmazières

A colorful and sensory tapestry (or fresco ?), the film spans several decades in the life of Mia, a silent and enigmatic freediver. A magnificent ode to aging and the passage of time, but also to the joy of a life fully lived, the film immerses us in a world of textures, sounds, glances, and ever-changing landscapes. With great delicacy, the narrative unfolds at a slow, drifting, melancholic pace, allowing the full poetic dimension of the director’s universe to emerge.
The Gran Premio Asino d’Oro goes to Fille de l’Eau by Sandra Desmazières

Jury Special Award
Sammi, Who Can Detach His Body Parts
Dir. Rein Maychaelson

With restraint and precision, this film shapes hidden emotions into a vivid mosaic. It turns the fractures of growing up, the cost of love, and the weight of memory into pieces we can almost touch. In watching, we undergo a dissection that is both tender and sharp—reminding us that the self is never whole, and that between giving and losing, we are forever renamed and reassembled.
The Special Jury Award goes to Sammi, Who Can Detach His Body Parts by Rein Maychaelson.

Special Mention

No Skate!
Dir. Guil Sela

There are films that move us not through grand gestures, but through their honesty, lightness and subtle humour. While watching this film we had smiles on our faces. We were impressed by the ease and authenticity with which this romantic comedy was directed. We loved the honest and sensitive performances of the two lead actors.
This shortfilm manages in a remarkable way to subvert romantic tropes with self-irony, while effortlessly weaving in elements of social critique. It tells its story with a confident sense of atmosphere and tone – always believable, entertaining and at the same time layered.
With this Special Mention, we would like to encourage the filmmaker to continue along this sensitive, honest and humorous path of storytelling. We are already looking forward to the next work.
The Special Mention goes to No Skate! by Guil Sela.

L’Onda – Young Jury Award
Le Diable et la Bicyclette
Dir. Sharon Hakim

We decided to give our award to a film about resistance and freedom that touched us, combining irony and courage, having the power to divide but also to bring people together,  and telling a story of self-discovery against a system of rules and dogmas. It is a thoughtful look at the pre-teen years that portrays a female perspective that stands out, and we are thrilled to give it the recognition it deserves as a symbol of something greater.
The Young Jury Award goes to Le Diable et la Bicyclette by Sharon Hakim.

Young Jury Special Mention
Autokar
Dir. Sylwia Szkiłądź

Owing to its ability to tell a story of immigration as a fairy-tale way through the innocent eyes of a young girl, the Special Mention of the Young Jury for this 24th edition of Concorto Film Festival goes to Autokar by Sylwia Szkiłądź.
