Ahimé is the second record by the trio LOSTATOBRADO, published in 2025 by Locomotiv Records with the support of Ramaglie Collective.
Ahimé was born after one year spent sampling sounds, arranging and writing six songs.
Ahimé aims at pushing songs into new musical landscapes still to be explored.
Ahimé is an invocation, a messa di voce, a surrender, a period of lucidity.

Ahimé is our fictional funeral.
Ahimé is also the title of a movie shot in 1983 by Claudio Oleari and Benedetto Valdesalici together with psychiatric patients and nurses: another reckless attempt to give an answer to all the questions of the world.

Unlike their first record, created from collective improvisation, Ahimé was born from the search for sounds and the sampling from actual sounds and musical instruments played with experimental and non-conventional techniques.
The sound of a flock of geese, the horn of a Dacia in Iceland, voices sampled as instruments, the sound of a south-Italian leather tambourine, Isabella Gilli’s mezzo-soprano voice, an ocarina, the Touch Theremin created by Gabriele Puddino, hunter’s calls and a meantone organ from 1551… everything adds up to the trio’s instrumental system: voices, synths and baritone guitar.
Thanks to AI’s generation of images, the band worked on their record keeping in mind an imaginary journey. Every song is a moment, a “stop” in the journey of the hero. Every song is a small movie.
